Voice Actors Wanted
Sixth Degree Studios is looking for two talented voice actors to play the roles of Id and Superego for our upcoming VR game Ego. The game will be shown at the Interactive Multimedia and Design Senior Project Fair in April 2018.
All volunteers will be credited and acknowledged for their time, and receive a lifetime of gratitude.

The Characters
[ID] [FEMALE] [30-40]
The “Id” believes that the player is fully conscious and “human-like”. She believes because of this, the player should make decisions that are self-serving and focused on their emotions and personal well-being. She is hot headed and passionate, making her more likely to react in an extreme manner towards the player.
The Id’s goal is to prove that the player is better off caring more for themselves than others, like all humans.
[SUPEREGO] [MALE] [60s]
“Superego” or the male narrator, believes that the player is conscious and simply appears to be due to following a strict moral code that has been implemented in the robot. He is calculated and follows a strict moral code. He is helping develop EGO in the hopes of creating a morally superior being that can solve disputes for conscious beings, who he deems unable to think of others over themselves. He has the demeanor of a retired military man and holds his cool throughout the testing process.
The Superego’s goal is to prove that the player is not conscious and thus superior to humans in moral decision making.
How to Volunteer
In order to apply, please email us with your name, general availability between the dates of February 5th and 23rd 2018, and if possible an audio recording (video not required) of you saying some lines from the example script.
